- Sex positivity, consent, health, and well-being.
Our moderation team is dedicated to these principles, helping to ensure you have the best experience on LinkLads. We strive for transparency in our guidelines and their enforcement, so you understand and trust our processes. If you have any questions, we’re here to assist.
Our Guidelines
Our Community Guidelines and Terms and Conditions ensure that LinkLads remains a safe, fun, and welcoming space for all adults. Actions may be taken against profiles or content that violate these guidelines, including issues related to:
- Commercial activities like advertising or selling goods and services.
- Spam, scams, and impersonation.
- Harassment, bullying, and hate speech.
- Promotion or engagement in illegal activities.
- Inappropriate content or behavior towards minors.
- Public posting of pornographic content.
If you observe any rule violations, please report them. Remember, you are responsible for securing your account and preventing unauthorized use.
How We Investigate
Our approach combines proactive measures and human review. Our goal is always to make accurate and fair decisions. Access to user chats and images is strictly controlled and is only permitted when necessary, such as in cases of reported harassment.
Actions We Take
Banning is a last resort. We prefer to educate and allow for behavior correction through warnings and content removal first. However, we do take decisive action against profiles that negatively impact our community or violate our rules. We enforce our guidelines consistently across both free and paid profiles—paid status does not allow for exemptions.
In cases where a profile is suspected to be underage, we block access and require ID verification. We also require photo verification for profiles suspected of using fake images or impersonating others.
Appealing a Ban
We carefully handle each moderation case; however, if you believe your ban was a mistake, you can appeal. Appeals are reviewed by an impartial team member not involved in the initial decision. While we aim to provide feedback, we must protect the privacy of users who report incidents, so some details may remain confidential.
Appeals must be submitted through our official form. Direct emails or other forms of contact will be redirected to the appeal form.
Our Team
Empathy and understanding are crucial to our moderation decisions. Our team receives ongoing training on bias, gender issues, and microaggressions to ensure fairness. We operate globally, 365 days a year, with a team composed of LGBTQ+ community members, allies, and advocates. We are continuously updating our policies based on user feedback and industry best practices.
Our goal is to maintain a platform that not only meets but exceeds the expectations for safety and inclusivity within the LGBTQ community.
